Question for the Alabama/Georgia folks.

This isn't a troll, this is a serious question.
How many SEC teams have to lose their bowl games before you start getting a little concerned about your playoff games?
Mizzou lost to Army.
Florida was blown out by UCF.
And now Houston is smacking Auburn around.
Alabama beat Florida by 2 and required an Auburn melt to beat Auburn.
Georgia plays in the SEC LEast and was blown out by bama.
If you aren't concerned about the SEC not only losing, but losing to Army and Non P5 schools you probably should be.
You're lucky that there isn't a stacked Clemson or Ohio State to deal with this year

It really doesn’t matter how “down” the SEC is. Comparatively, it is far and away the most talented conference - as evidenced by the NFL draft every year and draft boards this year.
We may both lose, but the most talented team Alabama & UGA will face this year (outside of each other) is their own team during practice.

Georgia beat UF/Mizzou/AU by a combined 111-23.
The fact that those teams suck isn’t a surprise to us.

You lie.

Non playoff bowl games have become very loosely related to the regular season these days. So I wouldn’t put much stock in the results as it relates to how good your schedule/conference was during the season.

So Will Anderson was correct.

Well, it continues to be proven over and over again that the transitive property has no effect in the outcomes of games and past results, given the specific context of each game and play, are not necessarily indicative of future results.
That said, both Bama and UGA have a task in front of them. Each are capable of blowing their opponent out or blowing it altogether. It's why they play the games.
Personally, I just hope Bama stays focused on a motivated, senior led Cincy team. I don't necessarily care what the final score is, so long as it is a W for Bama.

Certainly, you don’t think that the Florida and Auburn teams of this bowl season are as dangerous as they were earlier this year.
I am not “concerned” about Bama. I know that this Bama team is not nearly as good as many of Saban’s previous Bama teams, and Bama is not assured of victory here in the CFP. However, I will always believe that a Saban lead Bama is likely always going to be a tough out for most teams. I think that a Saban lead Bama team has only lost by more than 14 once during Saban’s tenure.
Bama may be lucky that they don’t have to deal with a loaded OSU or Clemson, but the rest of this playoff field should also be very relieved that they don’t have to play 2019 LSU or 2020 Bama. Either one of those squads would most likely annihilate this entire group.

6-6(3-5) Auburn is playing #20 11-2 Houston.
Florida was 6-6 (2-6) fell apart after the Alabama loss, their HC got fired and their entire program is in a mess.
Mizzou was a 6-6 team as well, 3-5 in conference.
So 3 teams that were each 6-6 and had a total of 8 SEC wins among all 3.
Yep, super worried.

I legitimately don’t give a frick. Outside of Alabama, no SEC teams were remotely competitive against UGA.

Zero one of the two will win it all .

WTF is the War Chickens doing in this Mobile Home Birmingham Bowl? That QB for Auburn, #1, is just f**cking terrible...they need to get the ball more to that RB, Bigby, Bungsby, Bitchby??? whatever, no wonder Nix transferred...the thing is, this POS War Chicken team is just as good as Bama!
Q: What's the difference between the AAC Conference and the "mighty" Trailer Park Conference, er uh, SEPee Conference?
A: NOTHING!!!
We have an IDENTICAL conference to the SEPee up north...it's called the Mid-Atlantic Conference!

Ask yourself a SERIOUS question here...WTF is wrong with the SEC when Michigan wants to play Bama in the NC instead of UC? I'm not joking, either!

You can probably find some "We Want Bama" signs laying around pretty easy.
