Your coach/admin just backed out of a game that didn’t count against you in the grand scheme of things but would have been valuable experience for a lot of young and developing players. IMO this looks like Jimbo didn’t want to lose and sacrificed a post season game for a lot of kids and fans.

I don’t think 4 quarters at the end of 2021 will make or break A&M in 2022.
A&M had little to gain playing the game. And a lot more to lose.

For the record we are going to visit in laws from 28th through 2nd in Nokomis, FL. We were planning on going to the game and going to St. Augustine after for NY. Just fricked up my plans.

I couldn’t disagree more.
The only thing to lose was a gator bowl with an opted/covid ridden team.
Gain would be 40 under class men experience. Bowl game road trip experience(That’s a thing). Fans and family get to see one more game. 2.5 million in revenue.

Those are all real nice, feel good things but mean jack shite for 2022 so my statement still stands.

I am upset. However, knew it was going to happen yesterday after reading the A&M sites. BTW, most A&M fans are upset

Most of you are rational human beings. I feel bad for the folks that already made plans, bought tickets, and traveled to Jacksonville.
