I am gonna take a guess and say they tested everybody outside the 10 day window (symptomatic or not) to get them into protocol knowing the break was coming and athletes headed home.
Pickens is a bigger issue if not vaccinated because of trace protocol by the SEC. JT reportedly was.
Vaccinated players if not symptomatic just have to get two negative tests to come off protocol.
I would have tested just outside the 10 day window to know and give a chance to handle.
Agree these likely aren’t the only ones and this already is a big deal.

Michigan currently reporting no players and offering boosters also.
quote:
Offensive lineman Andrew Stueber told reporters on Tuesday that the players will get their COVID-19 boosters on Wednesday in an effort to keep as many players available against Georgia in the College Football Playoff as possible, describing it as a “full-team booster shot,” per the Detroit Free Press.

Under current rules:
1-anybody symptomatic must be tested.
2-unvaccinated players have to be tested within 3 days of competition. Vaccinated players don’t (unless it’s a bowl or local rule)
3-the quarantine can end after seven days if an individual tests negative for the virus at some point on days 5, 6, or 7 of quarantine and no symptoms were reported. For asymptomatic people appears it can end any time with multiple negative tests.
4-if you test positive during travel (once they leave Sunday)…you are out for the game and must go home. *not sure if they adjust for longer trips like bowls.
5-unvaccinated players still have to isolate if they come in contact with somebody that tests positive.
6-if their are no symptoms..positive tested players can still train in isolation

The "vaccines" probably gave it to them or someone "vaxxed" gave it to them.
It is past time to recognize that the so called vaccines are dangerous and do not work the way they have been sold to us.

There are rules in place related to previously testing positive and a window after.

why can't they just test them daily and then release them when they finally test negative? Why hold them out 9 days? I'm no doctor but this seems silly; especially since these guys are vaxxed

Basically, those in charge are still winging it and not using any real scientific logic. That especially includes the mask Nazis and the lockdown thugs.

Read what I wrote! Two negative tests and they get out BUT not if symptomatic.
Hopefully they did a preventative screening(s) on all and these are asymptomatic guys that can isolate, test negative and return fine.
Zero chances only two people positive.

Based on what this new one is doing, I will be shocked if any team is at full strength December 31

If they have Omicron, they should be good to go in a few days.

You are NOT playing into the fear porn. Expect a visit from the state police at any moment!

It’s almost like it’s a head cold. But let’s keep testing !

I read a sciency paper that was all sciency that said omicron's "mutations" from what we might call Alpha are so different that it could even be a completely different coronovirus unrelated to what we call "Sars-Cov-2", and that perhaps, it could just be a common cold strain that has been "out there" for a long time but we never knew it because we don't test for coronoviruses until recently.

Fulton County's 7 day moving average has already shot up higher than the Delta peak over the summer. In one week. "They" were right about this being much more transmissible. Hopefully they are right about it being milder.

Can someone take Bryce Young's toothbrush for an extensive tour of the most restricted testing labs of the CDC around January 9th or so?

I have had Covid original, Delta and Omicron and Omicron was the easiest.
1 day turnaround after having symptoms last Friday.

I don't know if they're dangerous but it's clear that this is heading in the direction of annual shots, like flu, that they "hope" will help but are of questionable value. Just like this year, when it was recently announced that the current flu shot everyone is getting doesn't do much against the most common flu mutation currently in circulation.
I say "follow the money." There's already talk of a 4th shot (Israel already rolled one out). Who is making big money off this? Big pharma, number one. And then media that run endless stories on the latest COVID crisis...gotta keep the viewers watching and maintain ad revenue.
