Don't give up to easy. Samford plays pretty good basketball and is always well coached. I remember them beating a much more talented Alabama team several years ago when Jimmy Tillette was their coach and ran the Princeton offense

Don't think so. Your guards are the best in the league and will run a lot of teams to death. If Shackleford is not hitting the 3 ball, though, it might get rough against teams like UK,UT and AU

Auburn’s got Flanigan returning soon. Probably our second best player.

Bama has the talent to be good but they need to get their heads on straight. They are lacking confidence and at times look disorganized.

I know, I am an AU fan. I put the LSU logo up so I don't get cussed

May I ask who LSU has beaten that could have a winning record against a 7A high school schedule?

Belmont is a pretty good squad. They are ranked 56 in the Kenpom. Tenn’s best win is UNC who is ranked 37th.

SoS in Kenpom for LSU is 173 while Tenn’s is 232.

I’m not saying that LSU is better than Tennessee, but beating a good and not great UNC team isn’t the datapoint to prove it. LSU’s defense is elite at this point, and we will find out just how good it is once conference play starts.

Tennessee’s defense is ranked right with LSU’s with a tougher schedule. And it’s about to get boosted playing Arizona tomorrow. Probably a loss though.

We're pretty awful. Missouri and Vanderbilt have looked worse though.

Tennesse has definitely played more high end opponents, and I can see arguments that they are better than LSU going forward, but it’s hard to say they’re better right now when all of the advanced metric are saying LSU is better.

Is being 2-2 in Q1&2 games better than being 4-0? Tough to say at this point when we don’t have all the data. It will all sort itself out quickly for LSU once the Auburn game tips off.

When you take into account who those teams are, yes.

Wheeler vs UNC = Kentucky a Final 4 team.

Wheeler vs ND = Kentucky out the 2cd round of the NCAA.

Wheeler is definitely one of those streaky basketball players. Not sure how much that is going to change.

This is just an ignorant statement to make. I thought your OP was good, but some of your later comments have me thinking you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Wait and see. Over rated because of a weak schedule. Even a dumbass should be able to see that, obviously there is one that can't

Ok you don’t know anything about basketball. You should’ve just said that in the OP instead of pretending you’ve watched all these teams.

Wow. Looks dead on. Great rankings.

I was expecting LSU ranked first when I clicked on this thread due to most LSU fans delusion, but was pleasantly surprised.

I would have LSU and Arkansas ahead of Bama right now, but things will change. Can’t argue with the opinion in these rankings.
