Key word is “tried”. Reports are Monken is wanting to stay in Athens.
Sorry Brian…take an L courtesy of the dawgs!

Monken is not long term here, he's a career guy, he's not going to a lateral job. Especially to work for a douche like B Kelly.

Yea just sucks Kirby hasn’t given him a decent QBs to run a good offense with, I could see him leaving after 3 years of Stetson

Yeah, a healthy Stetson Bennett that helped get us in the Playoff, or an injury prone JT that almost lost us the Cincinnati and Clemson games.

Correct me if I’m wrong, wasn’t there more than one top 20 team at the time we played them this year?

If Stetson stays and is our best option next year, we need to hit the transfer portal. Otherwise it’ll be a throw away year

Pretty sure Monken is the one making the call on Stetson.

Did JT really win the Clemson game?

No he didnt and through several different games broadcasters have talked about how Monken likes having Stetson as qb because it opens him up to alot of plays he cant use with JT. So I think Monken is the one making the call to play Stetson and Kirby is letting him have full control of the offense and staying out of it.

Would we be in the Playoff had Beck filled in while JT was out?

Moving the goalposts just a little I see. Per you,the choice was between Stetson and JT and who he "almost lost to"

Do you know he didn’t lose it by throwing a pick 6?

Didn't lose the last one like that, either

Last what? The last game we played was a loss that involved a huge pick 6.

Now you are trying to pin the loss on the pick 6. Can't make this shite up.

The most hilarious thing is when UGA fans say “Kirby makes millions as a coach, I trust his decisions, Kirby knows best!”
So how do the opinions of NFL GMs and NFL coaches stack up against Kirby’s when Kirby decided it was better to start a future career NFL back up over a top 15 NFL pick?
I am Fromm fan and Kirby’s recruiting ability has taken UGA to another level but the QB position has been an enigma for Smart and he hasn’t shown the ability to adjust or play the best player.
Saban changed the QB two times in the two games they came back to win against UGA because he knew a change was needed. Why can’t Kirby have the same insight? What would it have hurt to play JT in the second half of the SEC Championship game?

What is the worst thing an O can do on a single play? Probably give up a TD via pick 6.
Other bad things include a red zone INT and a failed 4th down red zone pass.
When we needed points badly, Bennett was able to do all 3 fails on 3 drives in row. Quite the feat, right?
Yea, so Its totally reasonable to pin a lot of responsibility on Bennett for those huge mistakes.

This is the most important question because if the answer is yes then it basically proves that Stetson has done nothing special.
And for the record, the only questionable game we played this year was Clemson. Florida was won mostly by the defense. You could argue Auburn or Tennessee would have been closer, but it all depends.
Beck could have done the same thing Stet did, and at least now we’d have a better talent that actually gained some meaningful experience.
