From what I’m hearing it sounds like he re injured himself, hip at practice. Looks like Jackson is going to be presumed the starter from this point forward.

He must have the hips of a 70 year old woman.

I’m not super worried, he is a transfer with game experience. Williams spoke highly of him. He plays on special teams I believe.

Big opportunity for the kid as he and Moody have been doing work on special teams. That may also put the true freshmen T.Arnold on deck as back up at both CB positions. Because we still are without Moore as well and I think Saban said Branch can play all the DB positions if needed.

Talked to an EMCC coach a few weeks ago and he was shocked Jackson wasn’t playing more already . Talked about what a freak athlete he is . If he gets his assignments down he will do fine

It is hard to believe Bama doesn't have someone better than #3 Wright to send into these games.

I saw that on Twitter about his hip. Wasn’t sure or haven’t heard Saban say he was out for the whole playoffs but it definitely sucks for JAD . He has waited his turn . Hopefully he has a full recovery

The crazy thing about that is since the Iorn Bowl we seemed to simplify the calls and even Wright was in position along with Hellems on just about all the plays.

So if wright is in the right place it had to be to complicated and the whole defense 1,14,8,10,3,9,2 have all been playing Match ups and zone better!.

If you have watched Cinn you will note the wr # 12 is a big-time Volleyball player with vertical/reach and good height. They Like to do a lot of sideline 50/50 balls.
They also like UGA will put there TE in the slot on the same side hoping the safety helps on the sideline and they throw the seem route on the LB'ers.
So both our CB will have to play well.

None of these three teams are a threat to take over a game with their passing attacks. Stop the run as usual and be relentless up front with our pass rush. Jackson and Kool-Aid will be more than good enough for what's left.

Kyree Jackson is a freak athlete. 6-3, 200 pound corner that runs like a deer. I happen to think that we'll be fine. Kool Aid is a stud. He's easily the best corner on this team and frankly should have been starting ahead of Jobe for a while.

either way all of our db's will look good if we are getting pressure on their QB. Their OL hasnt seen anything outside of the ND game anything like what we will bring them. If Mathis and the other guys are focused on their job then Will and our OLB's going to feast

Jobe was good against the run. That's my biggest concern with these two CBs we have now. They got speed for days but they are gonna have to tackle some RBs.

Jobe was better suited for one of the safety spots in my opinion.

I have watched the Bama vs UGA game about 4 times and #19 for UGA just killed Bama time after time (with #14 chasing him and #3 at a couple of chances). Stetson is so comfortable looking for #19.

Bama gets as far as #9 can take them (as usual).

Battle is leaps and bounds a better player than he was against Miami.
