I heard him on Finebaum when I got in the truck and he was kinda noncommittal when Paul asked him about the OC hire. He never mentioned Austin Davis and only really said that they were trying to get the right people in the program.
Him addressing the Tank situation was night and day different from what he said about Bo though. Sounds like he knows he had to kiss a little arse to let Tank know that we need him back.

I’m not sure about arse kissing Tank. It was night and day discussing those two players though. I gathered that he wanted Tank to stay and for Bo to kick rocks.

Or it could be he’s just tired of Pat and Bo and somewhat glad he’s gone.

Harsin must believe that he can bring someone in more consistent than Bo.
Had to be extremely frustrating watching him from the second half of the Ole Miss game to the end of Texas A&M and then the complete collapse in second half of State.
Bo went three straight games without a second half TD. I know our offensive line is horrible, but if you’re a good QB that shouldn’t happen.

First, since Harsin hasn't hadn't hired Davis yet and usually they don't say anything until they have a presser tp announce it, he really couldn't say anything about it. That's just being professional.
There was going to be a difference between how Harsin would comment on Bo's leaving and Tank's staying.
Bo's fan base was split, and he being a legacy, and struggling through 3 years of avg OL play, WR issues, etc. Bo simply needed a change of scenery.
Tank was liked by all the AU fans. No one wanted him to leave. He just needed to know and get a firm commitment on his concerns probably about promoting him(NIL), his usage in games, and commitment to an offense that highlights his strengths.
