We have to give the new staff a few years to build a program in their image.

There is no need to melt right now. If we don’t see improvement next year then maybe but when a new regime takes over, it is perfectly normal for a purge to occur. And what we are losing on the offensive side can be replaced. The losses on the defensive side are what will hurt in the short term.

Give Harsin at least a couple of years to get acclimated. His overall track record says that he will do a good job. It doesn’t happen overnight. Yes, we had overnight success at the beginning of Gus’ tenure but that wasn’t a rebuild and the players were all very familiar with Gus, his system and the rest of the staff.

War Damn!

Bo
Agree.

Tank
Disagree. I think he could, and probably will, get a shot in the NFL. He's had a bottom-tier O-line his entire career and still put up respectable (and in some seasons phenomenal) numbers.

Agree on Bo, he didn’t have a 60% completion percentage. Tank is a big loss but running back is probably the easiest position to find someone

Yeah, I'd love to keep Tank. I am excited I won't have to suffer through two more years of Bo.

Bo may never be “right” coming off of that ankle surgery. I have had ankle surgery and it still isn’t “right” and I doubt it will ever be.

Hunter’s upside looks better to me than Tank’s.

I think Tank is NFL quality but he didn’t progress much this year. Last year he was an amazing freshman. This year he was a solid sophomore. Definitely not as good as some of the RBs we’ve had in the past few years

Reminder: You posted this. And this thread is equally stupid.

This Team Is Very Well Coached
Posted on 11/13/21 at 12:12 pm

I know, I know it’s only Miss St but Harsin is a fixer. He KNOWS what needs to be fixed and does his absolute best to fix it.

I loved hearing the sideline reporter say that Hars has preached all week to Bo about his sideline demeanor and how the team feeds off of it.

I know this is old news, but I could not be more impressed with his on field and locker room coaching. He has “IT” and he GETS it.

Well done, coach!

WAR DAMN!!!!

This is just the beginning though, it’s not just Bo and Tank. Hearing Kobe transfer rumors and I doubt Shenker will be back now… Harsin will have to replace most of the starters on top of recruiting. And recruiting isn’t looking good, we might sign some decent players but the top targets won’t sign with us (Clemons, Citizen, etc).

Tank did a few things wrong (he blew the Bama game by himself) but he is a good back.

Hoping Citazen replaces him is still a step back imo

And that’s obviously if everything else goes right.

Things are never as bad they seem, never as good as they seem either. There will be a reversion back to the mean. Tank and Bo might leave but someone else will get a lightbulb in their head that Auburn offers a solid opportunity for playing time.

Another thing we haven’t considered: maybe tank sniffed out that Austin Davis wants to throw the ball even more.

Tank is a talent and will be missed if he leaves. Bo? I think him leaving may just be what's best for him and for Auburn. I wish him well at his next stop. Unless it's an SEC team.

If you don't think Tank is an NFL caliber stud, you haven't been watching. Dude is the best RB we have had at Auburn in quite some time.

I think UCF or Clemson might be Bo’s next and final stop

I would say in the last 15 years. He is playing behind a putrid OL. He is a more talented/physical back than Kerryon. Tre and Tank are very comparable. I think Tank is the best RB we have had going back to Tub's time on the Plains.

Mason, Michael Dyer, Kerryon, Ben Tate were all much better then Tank. Tank had the rating but the other guys had the heart. Dyer was just a dumbass that wasted his chance.

Considering your hero was Finley .....I'd say your evaluation of talent rivals that of a dead skunk in the middle of the road,

This why I didn't even consider him.

IMO, only Tre and Tate could be arguable with Tank............and they both played behind significantly better OL's.
