Chapter 1: Corpsewood Manor

Anybody here from far NW Georgia have the goods on this tale?

Ever been to the manor?

*not interested in the usual google-search posers thatll spend 3 mins on workapedia & then pretend to be experts

Then what are you wanting to know?

Seems pretty well covered online. Been by there once on the way to the lumber mill near there.

I’m wanting to know if you believe in ghosts? Or if maybe people who play footsie with the occult and satanism might sometimes inadvertently conjure up things they wish they hadn’t?

One of the creepiest parts of the story is that one of the owners had painted a self portrait days earlier of himself gagged and dead with 5 bullet holes in his body.

I’ve been told the vibe on the property, not just near the house, is indescribably unsettling and creepazoid. And that’s from someone that didn’t even know the story when they were there.

Scudder and Odom were an Epstein/Maxwell crew in training. Things went off the rails and the CIA lost contain on their assets.

You googled the case on workapedia and came back with some snark yay! I'm hoping more to hear from people in that part of Georgia though. That are familiar with the tale

The way I hear it is that, even to this day, people in that community are divided on what really happened at that freak palace. That the official story is wrong and that those in prison are completely innocent. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. Am just curious what their side of the story is

Wish i had the rights to this movie, the Conjuring folks could do a great job. Largely psychosomatic, the lsd, hoofing, and the feelings toward homosexuality in the 70s and 80s created this.

Leaving Chicago for north Georgia to lead a satanic gay lifestyle in the 70s was a horrific decision.

The stupidity of the killers is amazing to do all this over a $200 a month pension the man got.

The old documentary is pure gold with a Televangelist going over interviewing the old nudist that talked like Boomhower.

Takes Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and says, hold my beer.

Most people are uneasy in the actual non park woods, i live in the woods and am at peace in nature but lots of friends and family worry in the woods though you are far safer there than in a city.

Reminds me a bit of the manor at Barnsley. That one I can share about..not sure it’s in the book or not. That manor is a great story won’t some cool civil war history and haunts.

Looks pretty dilapidated in current photos. Gutted and long since looted

Did you get any weird vibrations or hear any weird harp music? The one who’s ashes are scattered there played a harp, and people say you can sometimes hear its sad song late at night

Chapter three should be the Windsor hotel in Americus. Stayed there for a wedding in the jimmy carter presidential suite on the haunted third floor. Left half way through the night and drove almost 2 hours home drunk as frick. Creepy as frick.

In another upcoming chapter, after yours and RealDawg’s, I’m pretty sure I know where a spaceship is buried in this state

Went for psychology class and filmed it. A lot of people claimed a face came through the bricks. Of course, that didn’t actually happen, but it was eerie. I’ve always heard the harp is still in existence and was still in the possession of a famous individual from the area when he passed. Guess his family has it now, idk.

Thank you for that. Honestly . That’s the kind of intel I was hoping for

What was the psychology project or why did the professor take y’all there? Something about fear and mind playing tricks etc?

Did the Windsor Hotel have a bar, maybe on the second floor that overlooked the street?

I've heard many harps being played. How in hell can you tell if what is played on a harp is sad or not?
