I would give it a C+:
Kirby didn't use his time-outs, did not take the 3 points with a whole quarter ahead of us (almost seemed like he panicked). Almost seemed like he gave up in the 4th.
Also, I thought Cook was not used as much as we should have, especially out in space where he is effective.

He also refused to pull the second string QB, for the guy with NFL talent.

F-- Unprepared and uninspired. Staffs worst coaching job of Kirbys tenure short of SCU 2018.

I don't know about F but I agree with the sentiment. The D strategy at least was hugely flawed and they were way too slow to adjust.

B+ offense
D- defense

Monken called a great game, Bennett just can't play from behind, 2 costly picks and failed to make a pre-snap read on the 4th and 9. Kept throwing into double and triple coverage.

Defense game plan was horrible. 0 edge pressure in the first half, only rushing 4.

It is 2 years in a row that Bama has matched protections for our pressures very well.
And our pressures are different this season.

Sometimes you have to tip your cap to the opponent.

F on defense and a C for the offense. Monken called a pretty good game. He can't help that Kirby puts in the third best QB on the team. Special teams played great. I'd give Champ a solid A

F

This goes back to the presser at Clemson...

The "Well, why can't we hold offenses to under 14 points?" bit.

His entire philosophy on how to build a football team around a defense is suspect.

We don’t have a plan B. That’s what’s so mind blowing here, we haven’t given ourselves a shot at any other option. The more talented qb has sat on the sidelines for 6 weeks and didn’t even throw a ball against tech. We know for a fact Kirby fricked the Fromm fields fiasco up from hindsight and this is looking all too familiar. JT better be taking a fuuck ton of snaps with the 1s for the next few weeks if we have any resemblance of a back up plan when this happens again. Just sucks knowing your gut was right about something

But JT won't be taking any more snaps in practice in the next few weeks. Kirby is stubborn. It's almost like he does it out of spite because the media and fans question him about it. Then he keeps up with the BS coach speak about "evaluating week to week." Like someone else said, maybe there is something going on with JT that we don't know about.
