LSU coaches are asking Aggie recruits if they want to lose to LSU for the next 4 years

I have a former coworker from the Shreveport area who has a younger cousin in Texas that has offers from both Aggie and LSU.
The kid said the LSU coaches are pointing out that Aggie was "supposed" to be a playoff team this year yet lost to a bunch of backups and a fired coach and asking if the kid and a teammate of his (another recruit for both) really want to lose to LSU for the next 4 years.

Or they could go play for a coach that would abandon them for more money if they are on the cusp of making the playoffs.

I mean, either way he has to get used to being 4th best in the west if he goes with one of those teams.

The nephew of my next door neighbor has offers from a number of power five schools, including Aggy and LSU. My neighbor said the nephew said that the Aggy recruiters were asking if he wanted to go to a .500 program with no stability, a downward trajectory, the stigma of sexual harassment issues, smoke from NCAA investigations, and a history of not developing players; or go to a winning program with a stable staff offering development and no probation on the near horizon.
