Been very little back and forth smack this week between Bama and UGA to the point that there’s been several threads about the lack of it. I think it’s because there’s a mutual respect between the teams that’s portrayed by the more mature posters here and that aura filters down. Good luck Bama. If we don’t win it, there’s no other team I would rather see represent the SEC. Hope no one is hurt tomorrow and we all live to fight again.

That's not respect. It's fear. Georgia fans have barked all season, but deep down in the place they don't like to talk about, they don't quite believe (1980 and what not).
Bama fans are trying to convince themselves it is a quirk they scored a mere 10 points in regulation against a below average Auburn team. If the Tide brings that same game to the Dome, it will be a 30 point blow out.

I think its more that Bama isn't used to being the underdog and Georgia has the 1980 complex. Both sides are scared to talk shite. So no one does. It's pretty explainable.

I feel the same way. My best friend is a GA fan. We actually have non emotional conversations about football and its a nice change of pace. I'm not going to cheer for GA by any means, but I assume them to win it all as to AU, LSU, or God forbid TN.
