15% preseason filler data, 85% current season data opponent adjusted. Overall # is basically how many points better than an average team on a neutral field that team is.
So as of today Georgia (+23.1) would be a 8 pt favorite over LSU (+15.2) on a neutral field. Ohio State (+24.5) would be a 7.5 pt favorite over Alabama (+17.0) on a neutral field. Etc.
It's still pretty early so some of the numbers are a little quirky. Biggest wildcards are teams that are really good but have played a bad schedule to date, because the bad schedule tugs down on their numbers (Georgia and Michigan, as examples). Just won't know much until the schedule beefs up a little.
