Execution falls on the coaches. Player development falls on the coaches.

Shula and Golding made fine play calls too. But their players never could seem to execute those plays.

Where your Rees argument hits a brick wall is when you factor in how mediocre his offenses at Notre Dame performed against much weaker competition. There's a reason their new OC has put Rees to shame in only four short games...

And 17 points against South Florida? A team that allowed an HBCU to carve them up? That's not talent, bro.
