Much like Gus, a good guy. So I'm happy for him.

Better coach than Gus or no?

So far he appears to be more well rounded. Let’s see how he does the next two to three years. Good for him. Rhett is a good dude.

I expect him to be the next Arky coach after next year. Not sure I would take the Arky job tho

Always been a Rhett fan. I can't answer that question yet, but I believe ultimately he will be considered a better coach than Gus.

And I believe Gus would be proud of that fact.

Yea, happy for him. He seems more open minded than Gus which is working for him.

Great win tonight.

Really like him. Not sure he has the recruiting chops to win big in a p5 conference but he’ll get his chance

He won’t leave for anything less than Notre Dame, Alabama, Florida level job.

SMU is serious about competing at playoff level.

They have tons of money and historically when they paid top dollar, they got production and won tons of games.

Under the new rules, I have adopted The Mustangs as my second team.

How is Jack Plummer rocking a solid mustache but not related to Jake Plummer. Jake used to have a solid naked bootleg.

I am old enough to remember how good they were when they were paying top-dollar.

I don't know why Gus thought he was wise and never compromised

Keiondre Jones, 75 for FSU just negated a huge run by FSU QB.

He was part of the talent exodus out of Auburn.

Oh I think he was wise but arrogant. That arrogance works for him and against him. Once you do something a certain way for so long, its hard to adapt. Its what makes the great ones great.

SMU finishes higher than Liberty, Tulane, and NMSU.

Now that SMU is offically this board's second favorite team let's go win that Big 6 game.

I think their overall record from 1979-1984 was the best in the country.
Looked it up

“ From 1980-1985, SMU had the winningest program in Division I history with a 55-14-1 record.”
