We crushed them in the first game. They destroyed us in the second game.
One of those odd series you get in the SEC. A very good showing by the Tide to come back and play so well in the second game.

Huge win for us today. As sad as it might sound our biggest goal in most of our series against elite teams in SEC play is to avoid sweeps. If we avoid sweeps and find 2/3 once or twice we're in the NCAAT.
Now tomorrow is no pressure, try to steal a series from a great team instead of the pressure of avoiding sweep.

I think the Cardinal and White have been to the NCAA tournament like 30 of the past 45 years. So, if you can take one from the Hogs, you've had a pretty good day.
Really like Brad Bohannon but his job got a lot harder with the loss of our catcher yesterday. He's out for the year apparently.

If Alabama can avoid sweeps against the top teams and take care of the mid week games, they will win 38-40 games. It's a big if,but a far cry from Gaspards last few seasons.

It's early in the conference schedule. No one REALLY knows what they have and bats aren't consistent yet. Later in the season, teams know what they got and adjust.

The outlook isn’t to avoid a sweep in every series. Just the tougher ones. Winning a couple series is an expectation. So getting to 38-40 wins in 2019 could be a possibility.

Baseball has always been weird with scores.

Not trying to be an arse, but that would be grossly overachieving based on your roster and schedule. Getting to 10 conference wins would be a hell of a coaching job by Bo. Do that and win the rest of your non-con gets you to 34 wins.
