Jeremy Johnson = Cardale Jones? Will Auburn win it all next year?

Auburn and Ohio State run very similar offenses. Jeremy Johnson is a big body with a strong arm just like Cardale Jones. They both are also a threat to run.

If Malzahn can turn around Auburn's offense in a year why can't Muschamp turn around the defense in a year?

IMO Auburn is the team to beat in the SEC next year.

Will be unstoppable with an air raid passing attack to Duke Williams balanced out with a stong running game with Roc Thomas and Jovon.

Saban can't defend QB's like Cardale.

It's very possible, but the SEC is wide open. UGA or Bama are probably early favorites in my book.

Love it when auburn is the team to beat. Means they'll end up with 4-5 losses

Eh...maybe. Probably not. There are still too many question marks on both sides of the ball. Duke coming back was huge, and the new QB has given us absolutely no reason to doubt him in the times he's played. The running back corps should be an upgrade, and OL line play should be a lot better, but I am weary about losing our center Dismukes. It's just a question of how quickly Muschamp can shore up the defense, particularly the DL.

It's just too early to talk about, but who knows. I certainly don't.

It's always tFlagship's year in perpetuity. I am excited to see Arky attempt to wreck shop in the West this year though.

Will like to see how physical JJ is when he runs. Cardale is a physical runner. Cardale played great in the 3 games he played. I'm not sure he could have taken that kind of punishment over a 12-13 game stretch. If AU can have some continuity on offensive line and a better D, I don't see why they couldn't win it.

big loss will be Dismukes but it won't be that bad...Alex Kozan comes back after missing 2014

and a better D

can't get much worse and now have one of the best DC's in the nation

I agree...I don't think we WILL win it but we have to be one of the top 5 or 10 favorites (Bovada seems to agree)

Agree Auburn will be unstoppable and shut down every team they play on D.

Sucks for the rest of us.

Jeremy is not as physical as Cardale, but much better as a passer. I am very optimistic about the season!

I'm pretty sure these team to beat titles aren't official.

Jeremy Johnson is about 35 lbs short of being the brute of a running threat that is Cardale Jones. Johnson is actually more of the typical pro-style QB at 6'6" and 215 lbs. But yea, I can see Johnson filling the bill if he puts on an extra 35 lbs of muscle weight.

Auburn is getting softer by the day. Weak like Oregon.

Did we not have the SECs leading rusher this season?... a guy who got 90% of his yardage between the tackles?
