Week 8 ATS Standings - Cumulative

Combining the first eight weeks of picks, percentages stack up as follows. As a whole, 210 Ranters are 2173-2375 for a winning clip of 48%. Please let me know if you think there is an error. And remember you must have at least 30 picks over the course of the year. I'll try to have the lines for week 9 done by Wednesday at noon.

This has been a really tough season to predict, imo. The last 3 yrs, I really had no problem making picks and finished in the top 5 each time. I can't seem to figure it out this year.

After a hot start this seems to be dropping fast every week. Further proof that when all the chips are in, Vegas always gets paid in the long run.

Perhaps you should have a cutoff for even listing people. LIke 15 picks at this point. Dude that is currently 4-1 prolly won't win.

The cutoff is 30 picks after the 14th week. Then, it is whoever has the best winning percentage out of those with at least 30 picks.
As we get closer to the end of the year, I'll have a list of remaining games and use that to determine whether someone will be able to hit at least 30 games. If they are not able to, they will be deleted. Still have another week or so before that becomes an issue though. For example, if after the 10th week, someone has 5 picks and there are only 24 total picks left through weeks 11-14, they will be disqualified. The list will begin to whittle itself down then.
ETA - This will probably be the last week new pickers will be able to mathematically join...have to look though.

Let me look tomorrow...thumb drive that I store everything on is at work. I had been keeping it at home until my 4 year old decided to hide it last week...why I didn't get them out til today. I'll let you know.
