Tiger was the first to pop in my head

What's unique about Tiger's style?

Ive seen Money May do that plenty of times

You're right. I stand corrected.

Start at 2:20 in this clip: Mayweather moves
quote:

Ive seen Money May do that plenty of times

With Money May it's more of a hiding of the head behind his shoulder. Which is a move he invented, so it's unique in its own right, but i think it's more copyable than Ali's.

Unless you have video evidence to prove me wrong.

Ali

Good call.

Young Clay/Ali got away with doing a lot of things "wrong". Like avoiding a punch by leaning back.

And then following it with a straight right hand. Nobody else since has even *tried* pulling that off.

Ken Norton Sr

He fought a lot like Archie Moore. And then the old version of George Foreman incorporated elements of that style.
Which athletes, across all sports, have played with a style that is/was completely their own? Or, in other words, complete the following sentence. We'll never see anybody else play like ______.

I'll start the show, and I'll quote Pete Sampras in support of my nomination.

quote:

"Mcenroe was so unique in the way he hit the ball. In the way that he served, and the way he volleyed, it was all touch and just beautiful to watch. I can't see another player in 50 years to play like Mcenroe. You're just born like that. You're just born with the hands and the feel and the anticipation. And the way he glides around is something that I've never seen before and probably won't see [again] as long as I'm living."

And Arthur Ashe:

quote:

"Mcenroe was the most talented easily. Great hands. He can do things with his hands that the rest of us have to think about doing. He doesn't have to think. It's instinctive and automatic for him. He is someone you cannot copy."

Go!

I don't follow CFB very closely. What did they do to deserve that kind of money?

Jones doesn't make 4.8M. Or, at least Tennessee isn't paying him 4.8M. He makes 3M.

I started running mine the week of October 12, and tracked the results of all 4 models.

You can view the results there and use that data to cherry pick various angles as it breaks down the results into a lot of cross tabs.

Unfortunately, since pretty much all bowl games are at neutral sites the home/away breakdowns won't do much good.

You have the average score as 25.9-30.4. I assume the latter is the home team?

Is this the greatest rap of all time??

It's really really good lyrically. Anyone who thinks otherwise is silly.

F. Gabrielle - Dreams (dance remix)

Terrible quality. I didn't upload it.

Fleetwood still wins.

Not a close call.

I have seen it a few times and have it on now in the background. It is old clips of old games from 30 years ago. What is the point? I don't get it at all.

What am I missing?

It is weird. It creeps me out.
