Do you think Michigan fans, Michigan media, and team are scared to play Bama?

Listening to Desmond Howard’s take on the FSU situation and the UM team reaction to the announcement that they drew Bama, I get the feeling there is an underlying sense of dread.

Howard is not being genuine in taking up the FSU flag pole.

They have THEIR best team in years and are scare shitless of Bama.

No idea. Seemed to be a bit of apprehension in the reaction video.

You’d have to be out of your mind to not be scared to play Alabama in crunch time when Nick Saban and crew has 3 weeks to prepare for you lol

I don't think they are scared at all. They have a lot of talent and are a very physical team that has rallied together around the whole Harbaugh situation.

Bama absolutely presents them with some challenges they have not seen, but they are going to come in and play tough, physical football.

It should be a great game. That said, I hope it's not, and Bama wins by 3 scores without injuries.

As much as people don’t like hearing it, 1.5 point favorites lose about 45% of the time. 15 point favorites, which is what Michigan would have been over FSU, lose about 15% of the time. Michigan’s odds to win the National Championship were doubled when they drew Bama

The reaction of the Michigan watch party says it all

No, but I do think they were really looking forward to playing FSU, which is why this bitching from morons like Desmond Howard rings so hollow.

I don't know if they are scared, but I don't think playing Alabama was their first preference.

I thought the same thing in 2014 when we played Ohio State. Michigan is not a gimme. They are a good team.

Well they sure as shite would've preferred the softness of FSU, that's for sure.

Michigan's not a strong team at all and they do nothing offensively that Alabama will struggle with. Also, the offensive production of their opponents is pure pig shite. Jalen Milroe will put Coach Asperger in alot of defensive conflicts.

Michigan will be godsmacked by Alabama to the tune of 28 to 17.

So yeah, they're scared. They know it's over before it's even begun

Gotta disagree. Penn State, Iowa, Rutgers (yes Rutgers) and Ohio State all play good defense and Michigan casually ran over them with very basic offensive stuff

QB probably afraid of the illegal cheap shots. Other than that doubt anyone is scared.

Little Nicky learning from his pal Bill Belicheck knows all the ways to cheat, so he is onto UM's game and they can't get his signals.

Michigan would’ve been 14 point favorites against FSU. They would’ve been the easier game.

Of course they are worried. The TCU loss last year, and Bama this year. "Here we go again."

As much as Michigan is hyped, there is always 1 underlying problem with the program. They only play 1 game a year. In the SEC you play 6-7 games. That advantage is huge come CFP time.
