I have always liked their fans/team and posters on this site. In fact, outside of Arky fans, I don't think there's another fanbase on here that I like more than the State fans. Maybe it's because of the similar arc of our football programs over time. Hate that one of us has to go away disappointed tomorrow.

I have a lot of respect for USC fans. As I recall, there was a stretch when they went something like 0-22 and sold out every home game.

Amazing how patriotic this entire country was after 9-11. Don't want to relive that, but would love to see the country come back together like that again.

Not me. That 'togetherness' led to a herd mentality that allowed them to start two wars and pass the Patriot Act without very much criticism at all.
The next time it happens, look for the ones leading us by the nose. They'll be up to no good.

Not to hijack but I would say the extremist and those sheltering them started the afghan war but Iraq was on us. You are right about the patriot act but the togetherness wasn’t all bad and our current hyper partisanship is worse longterm
