Completely meaningless way to measure SOS. For example, this method considers a home game against a 10-2 Bowling Green to be just as tough as a road game against 10-2 Alabama.

SOS before the season starts is useless
Measuring SOS with just opponent W/L record is also even worse

Are you trying to feel better about your shitty schedule or bring others down to feel bad? Because I like LSU’s schedule.

college football is dead, its just a nfl minor league now, who cares?

Did someone that works for Ole' Puddin' Head Biden put this together?
This is about some stupid crap, show each teams full schedule and SEC opponents and get back to me.

So Hypothetically, playing, say…Rice, at home is the same as playing Missouri on the road sandwhiches between 2 other SECs?

It also assumes that playing 2 teams with 6-6 records offers the same opportunity for loss as playing 1 team with an 0-12 record and another with a 12-0 record.

I’m fine with this, we’ve had some pretty tough schedules.
We’ll most likely find a way to screw it up though.

It's not our fault we drew Mizzou this year. We tried to make up for it by scheduling FSU but it wasn't enough.

How did tOSU's pathetic SoS of last season jump to number 9 for the upcoming season?
Also, I'm not surprised that SC's SoS is high but I am surprised that it's #1.

It’s April.
We know nothing about any of these teams on the schedules

This is the 3rd time I think in the last 5 years we've had the nation's toughest schedule; mostly because we play clempson as an OOC opponent.

Tennessee has a neutral site game in Nashville vs Virginia, 4 road games
(Florida, Bama, Kentucky, and Mizzou) and 7 home games that include Austin Peay, UTSA, UCON, and Vandy (along with SCAR, Aggies, and UGA). SOS 16 looks just as difficult as 63.
SOS rankings blow. UGA's home schedule is a joke for season ticket holders. Tennessee appears to be in the same boat. NCAA needs to rebalance and reclassify. Take the top 50-60 teams and have 4 super conferences and cut the remaining into another league and the rest go g5 or D1-AA.
