From Auburn University and Coach Gus Malzahn.
What should he do with said offer?

Depends on the position. QB, WR, or TE? Hell no! Probably not any position on offense outside of RB. Gus's offense has a bad stigma with the NFL scouts.

I tell him to accept it because Auburn is a wonderful place with great people and he’ll receive a quality education that will take him far in life.

Then I tell him that Gus runs a clean program and sets guys up to graduate without getting into trouble while in school.

Then I remind him of the quality of women on Auburn’s campus and that he’ll be a football player which is about the same as being a Greek God.

Then I tell him he’ll have to be okay with having some frustrating weeks because he won’t win the games he wants to win the most.

If my son was a gifted quarterback prospect there is no way in hell he would take that offer as long as Malzahn was there.

You tell him to take it and go get a great education at no cost to him or me. Tell him to work hard in the classroom and on the practice field. Then explain to him that he might beat Auburn's 3 biggest rivals once out of the 4 years he is there.

If he is an offensive recruit other than WR, you really hammer home doing good in the classroom because the NFL does not like guys that played offense under CGM. Take that great education and get a good job doing something you love and start a family with one of the smoke shows he is bound to meet on campus.

Sounds like a pretty good life outside of the few times he will have to play rivalry games for a few years. Yes be an idiot not to take that scholly.
