Went 7/9 in game one and has been one of our more consistent shooters. Is what it is.
Usually guard play is what kills us but we’re getting smoked all over the court right now.

Yeah we are losing the battle at every position. Broome is in double figures almost by default but he’s been terrible defensively and taking too many threes

Let’s see how guys respond in the second half. We did not come close to matching their intensity. No more lazy passes and knock down the open threes. We are getting plenty of them.

They are shooting 58% from the field. If we don’t cool them down this game will get out of hand more than it has.

Yep, more concerned with the defense than the offense so far. They’ve made some tough buckets but they’ve also missed some completely uncontested ones. Bigs have to play better defense. No reason the twin tower lineup should be giving up that many layups.
