As much as Jimmy Rane has done for Auburn University and Auburn Football I’m not sure how anyone could have an issue with this.

Dude has played the game with big money for 40 something years. Props to yellawood and yella fella.

And at least now he isn’t on the sideline anymore interacting with the coaches during the game.

To add on anyone that has an issue with Rane or the Harbert family I don’t what to think. They have been the money folks behind Auburn athletics almost exclusively since Louder lost his money.

Where the rubber meets the road.
Also, I wonder if Rane helped push Auburn over the finish line to get them to officially recognize the 9 NCs.

youre being serious arent you?

You cant figure out why ANYONE would have a problem with a big ole YELLOW WOOD on the field?

How bad do you want Auburn to add number 10?

I think there is some conflating of issue with having any logos on the field and having it be yellawood.

I think majority here’s issues is that a logo is there at all, not who’s it is.

I’m talking to anyone that would have an issue with it.

He’s donated more than enough money to have a logo on the field and he’s paying extra now to have it. It’s a money game now. Better accept it.

How much money do you think the NIL OTV raises with their 3k members.

To have a competitive roster now that the 20.5 is gonna require around 35-40 million a year.

Not bad enough that we sell advertising rights to our fricking football field. Its so fricking tacky and non traditional.

Thanks Corch, they deserve whatever the school can provide given their support.

We should thank our lucky stars NIL was not around while T Boone Pickens was alive or Oklahoma State would be national champions every year. He gave 652 million to the school mostly to athletics.

He once boasted the most expensive meal ticket Texas A&M never paid was his. He was on scholly and they cut him, so he transferred to Oklahoma State

What if that yellow rectangle on the field was the difference that made Auburn a perennial playoff team?

Paying players isn’t traditional either. Shift perspective or get left behind and I absolutely hate paying players.
