If he'd been used properly by Hugh?

I think he would be.

You cannot run consistently behind that Oline…. It’s void of talent…

Gus would’ve fed him till the wheels fell off for better or worse. Heisman candidate is tough but certainly in the all American conversation.

Behind our line and with our record, even if it was improved by his usage, no. Big fan of the guy but you basically have to go for 2k and be on the best team to win it as a rb now

Hunter gets his first 1k season in his career, but Freeze didn’t utilize him?

I agree. Seems to be one of the most underrated running backs to graduate from Auburn. Put him on the 04 Auburn team and he’s a top 10-15 pick. I hope he does well at the next level. By seasons end he was by far my favorite player on this team

Eta: RBs aren’t really given a chance at a heisman in todays game

Hunter would be a candidate for Heisman if ... he had an OL that wasn't the worst ranked in the 16 team conference.

No cause against the better teams we could not run the ball. We ran 3 plays from the 3yd line yesterday and couldn’t run it in. Y’all think just handing it to Hunter was the answer and it was not. That’s what our red zone offense sucked, we couldn’t run the ball when other teams knew we needed to.

All SEC Center, True freshman LG, RG is good too. Tackles are the weakness. Void of talent my arse.

12 rushes against Cal
12 against Arky
13 against UGA (despite averaging over 7 YPC)

Yes, Freeze severely underutilized him.

No because I think at best it flips our W/L from 5-7 to 7-5. Team would have to be better. Not properly utilizing Jarquez was just 1 of several problems this team had
