The only thing which surprises me is how bad he was. I wasn't impressed by him from the start, I am so far outside looking in, but I never heard anything encouraging beyond "he's worth a shot "

I just never saw it in him.

Almost the same with Harsin, but in different areas.

There were some calls in that Kentucky game that I honestly thought he must be trying to get fired. The 4th & 7 where we decided to go for it near midfield late in the first half. It was a 3-pt game at at point and if they got the ball and scored to go up 2 scores the game would have been out of reach, especially with an offense that couldn’t get a first down and a defense that was playing lights out. Turns out that we picked off a pass on the ensuing KY possession but man what a stupid call.

The defensive players were usually still on the field in groups practicing something they had worked on, etc. And the entire offense was gone.

This is hard for me to believe. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's true but how could a HC not see how hard one half was working and how the other half, the half that sucked, wasn't?

I could be biased because I was waiting for him to be fired to last few games there were some head scratchers by CHF. I hate to think he would do such to this organization that he so loves but money can influence anyone's judgment.

I follow his daughter on TT the past week and Im baffled at her stance in all of this. I was expecting gratitude that he can go forward with his cancer treatment ESPECIALLY with his buyout. She could be faking it, but I just find it hard to believe anyone is really surprised by the decision of the University as a eesult of performing his job so poorly.

wait, she thinks her dad was treated unfairly by AU?

i could definitely see that with Harsin, but i think Cohen & Co have been almost too patient with Freezus, especially given the amount of money and support he’s been given since his hiring

She said it was just so hard on them and that people don't understand. People rightfully attacked her because they are getting $15MM. She came back as said yeah, but she remembers when they didn't get the money one time (yeah, daddy is a scumbag that was out hiring hookers) and even with the $$$, it is hard. Ahh, so sad.

She said they promised them 4 years. I guess contracts are called promises now. Whatever.

Then she said they didn't allow him time to have necessary surgery. BS. He had plenty of time, just needed to not be golfing and take care of himself if that was the case. That is all 100% on him, not Auburn.

Cliffs: She is a twit.

speaking as someone who had a prostatectomy in April of 2020 when the whole world was shut down for Covid, i call bullshite that they ‘didn't allow him to have necessary surgery’

The daughter lives in a house built in the 1900s. They're that poor.

WEP summed it up pretty well. Ive seen her at the end of the games when Coach was headed for the handshake but I wasnt aware she was active online. I get the impression that she is trying to build a bigger following from the situation. There is something off about it. Shes trying to hard

Baloney.

Freeze earned his firing because he failed to adequately address known, identifiable problems that were preventing the team from achieving its primary objective - to win games.

Freeze had adequate time to address the OL …. and yet we lead the conference in Sacks Allowed …. again.

Freeze had adequate resources to address the special teams inadequacies… and he failed to do it. We’re a horrible 2 for 6 on pk’s of 40+ yards … when we can execute without penalties ….among other deficiencies.

Freeze’s questionable QB decisions might have survived if not saddled with the other deficiencies …. but reality bites.

We’re simply not going to compete in the SEC with glaring, exploitable deficiencies like these.

Had Freeze left Ole Miss for Auburn it may have worked much better but he went to Liberty, got lazy with way too much golf and then came to Auburn thinking he could have the same work ethic

A lady on the radio said this morning that as Hugh and Cohen were walking off the field after KY game, Hugh told Cohen they should find out who all the people booing were and ban them from Jordan Hare.

I had not heard this story anywhere. Sounds made up, but wanted to see if maybe there is something to it.

Did he rally play gospel music?

Whenever they showed practice clips there were always bangers playing. I never heard gospel music.

That's the rumor but like you I only heard normal music so if he did it was an overblown rumor.

Hugh’s like, these boys don’t know bangers, let me go grab my Sandi Patty’s Greatest Hits CD.
