Hoke said the coaches were planning on playing JJ against Ole Miss but it didn't work out. They said he has been performing really well in practice and has catching on quicker than expected.

I seriously hope he is wrong on that. I would really lose faith in the staff if they burned a redshirt on JJ halfway through the season with only a couple cupcakes left.
There is no way that Marshall goes pro this year meaning we will have him for another season that JJ can do cleanup in and our offense will be much better next year so he should get a good bit of time.

I figured they moved Wallace to the two spot for the very reason of not burning jj s redshirt. Might as well keep Wallace as a serviceable back up and get some reps. Only reason to play jj at this point would be if Marshel goes down.

I think he would go beast in that type of league. There is no tackling, legal tackling anyway.

Tackling isn't the issue. He can't complete a forward pass unless it's to the other team. frick him, I don't wanna get embarrassed in flag football.
