Why can't we run slants?

Maybe I'm crazy, but it feels like in the last decade I've seen us run (and actually throw the ball) a quick slant play like 3 times? But week in and week out I've watched teams light us up with slant routes, and other teams throw them all the time in games. But Auburn just can't for some reason?

That’s the Gus Freeze style offense. It is what it is. Did you watch FSU Bama. No slants.

You aren’t crazy. We suck at them.

Wasn't our first pass play of the game a slant to Coleman?

Yes. Just like the two that he dropped last season.

Could have been a better throw last night, but it was certainly catchable.

We ran two that I know of last night.

We ran plenty last year, Fairwrather caught a ton.

Coleman dropped one for a pick.

Yeah. Bad throw but it hit him in the hands.
