Since the Lashlee story broke, I've been digging deeper into the Briles situation at Baylor, and I'm starting to consider the possibility that their Regents might've been the true frickups in the scandal, not Briles. Besides, if Briles was as guilty as the media is portraying (largely in part to what Baylor is feeding them), the school could've fired him with cause and NOT agree to a settlement...the fact they DID settle with him, it makes me wonder if they hoped he'd take the money and keep his mouth shut. Long story short, if Briles ends up clearing his name with his impending lawsuit, it'll truly suck that we passed him over as an OC candidate....
