I'm not saying he was a model Boy Scout but to the best of my knowledge, there has been zilch about Jovon being a thug.
There are rumors that he was late to meetings or missed classes, but nothing public about him being a criminal or breaking any laws.
Let's not stretch the truth. He's a young man who's had trouble in the classroom before and obviously did not make his head coach happy.
But that's 1,000 miles from labeling someone a "thug."

In a nutshell, stop recruiting thugs. The WR Gus released last year mid season should have never set foot on campus. The 4 involved in an armed robbery under his watch, we even had a few actual shootings while CGM has been on staff. Is it necessary to bring these people into the AU sphere who obviously are not university material? It's rather embarrassing and a liability.

I've seen many attribute blame to Coach Craig for the Duke Williams situation.And you're the one being ridiculous getting defensive instead of just undercutting his arguments. The OP is talking about the same Gus that transferred Dyer to Arkansas State with him. Gus has problems dealing with problem kids. So he has a point. Gus is no bellichick in that he cannot control them with his influence.

Yeah, I don't recall any thuggery issues when he was recruited. He had to go to JC because of a grade change, not because of behavioral issues.

Jordan and Tuberville had higher percentages making 5th out of the last 7(not including Oliver), ahead of only Barfield and Chizik.

Finally, how are we pinning the Ed Christian/Phillips/Mack shootings on Gus? Gus left Auburn nearly 6 months before that occurred.
