I haven't been able to keep up with all the new players coming in.

Which ones should we expect to maybe earn a starting position this fall and which ones have the capabilities to become really impactful players?

It's fun to be excited about football again.

Plenty of guys to choose from. The team could almost all be brand new guys

Justin Rogers on the DL.
Excited to see how LBs Keys and Tolan fit in.
Does Jalen McLeod’s game translate to the SEC? Shorter and Hooks provide some proven receivers, albeit at lower levels.

Endless source of narratives around this team. I’m actually pretty excited to see how guys fit into the depth chart when we get to fall.

I am interested in seeing how Elijah McAllister performs on the field.

Thorne at QB - will determine if we are gonna win games on the road or just be a below average team.

OL as a group- Wade, Jones, Britton are almost locks to start. Can 2 guards become run game maulers and just be competitive in pass pro and the offense should be able to score some points.

Another group position in the DL - Harris, Jones, Rogers are probably the 3 interior starters but might be the least talented DL we have had in my lifetime. If Jones matures and able to eat double teams without being able to be moved will be an incredible jump for him. He got moved off his spot so much last season I think that’s why they are working him and Rogers at the 3 tech. So Rogers can move to 0 tech if needed. Walker and Kite have to come in and have zero drop off in production. We have to be able to stop the run. Everyone is concerned with the pass rush. It’s something to think about but none of that matters unless we stop the run this year.

Running back and defensive back should be really good positions if we stay healthy. WR and LB have to get better and we have brought in a ton of guys with experience. Can they do the job? I think both groups can be average and I’ll take it.

Thorne may delay the debut of Downtown Heisman Hank Brown or at least split time with him.

I think Battie gets several explosive TDs

I think Battie will be great in the return game. Battie isn’t some burner every one thinks he is. He’s very similar to Tre Mason just a very good 1 cut back with good vision that is hard to square up to tackle. Much like Tre the line backer could make the right read and fill the hole but he could bounce cut and lean and get 3 yards when none should have gotten.

I would look for Hunter to be the homerun threat.

We picked up so many players from the portal this year. I would say Thorne, Battie and Hooks will be the offensive players to watch. McCloud and the transfer DT from Kentucky are the ones to watch on defense.

Freeze really hit a homerun in the portal for us this year

Agreed. He will get his share of explosive plays from the backfield, but he’s gonna be fun to watch as a return man.

On offense I would add Fairweather, Shorter..

On D, Mosiah Kite will surprise. Larry Nixon III

Newcomers to definitely watch Jeremiah Cobb, Conner Lew

on D, Keldric Faulk, Cayin Lee

Calling 10+ wins and heck how about 15? Way too much underestimating of too many..
