I was just defending my opinion against yours. As of now, I would take O over Gus. LSU's defense looked pretty solid yesterday. It has also been good enough to get them to 13-0, something Gus has never accomplished.

What does this mean? Auburn pays Gus too much money? Did Jimmy Sexton get Purdue too?

Difference is Coach O and LSU are capitalizing on their run via recruiting and we didn’t.

Between Lousiana and Houston/East TX pipelines for LSU, they should have top 5 classes almost every season.


YawYaw is a great recruiter, but let's not pretend like it is apples to apples for Gus/AU

The thing is that O is so culture based, I'm not sure it'd work anywhere but LSU.

I'm not sure it's going to work at LSU for long, but if he's able to sustain the program culture and retain top assistants, he might do it.
