5/10

Recruiting is great, as well as can reasonably be expected for Auburn.

He's shown absolutely nothing on the field though, so batting .000 in that element of the job.

Our best QB is the 2nd stringer.

Our best coach is the next one.

Always and forever.

Multi year rebuild folks, that's just the way it is. Blame is on the latter Malzahn years and Hasbeen.

Here's my problem, I didn't get a chance to watch the game but listened to most of it starting in the 2nd quarter. Have we, traditionally powerhouse running back school, completely decided to abandon the run game? The last time we in my memory we ran the ball and had other teams hold our pockets while doing so was in 2013 with Tre Mason. We have all these supposed great backs with fancy nicknames that don't do shite. I watched the USF vs gump game and was in awe of a program like USF where their online gave the backs time to run and gave the QB a chance to make a decision and yet here we are year 11 of no offensive line, shitty QB and running back development. Tight ends that don't do a damn thing and zero actual fullbacks anymore. Defensively we turned it around in the 2nd half but I would be pissed if all our supposed offense can get done is 3 and outs consistently or turnovers. Bunch of absolute bullshite and I'm tired of it. AU Football Grade as a whole F- .

Here’s the thing, there are a lot of us here (dozens of us meme) that are just stating what our faith in Hugh Freeze is.

I totally know potato head left us in the ditch and it will take time. And I and others have not called for his head.

The question was faith level. Will it take time? Yes. Do I have faith Hugh Freeze can get us to a YOY winning level with some championships? I say no faith as do others. But we are stuck, so we ride it out.

You know though, I was hot yesterday, but I’ve warmed a tad on Hugh since yesterday.

I’d say my faith level on Hugh today is about 0.2%.

Never understand the idea that a new coach has to be held to the historical philosophy of Auburn.. but yeah, to win in the SEC you're generally going to have to establish the run. Certainly isn't making it easier on our mid QB

Overall despite the loss if you could draw a linear graph from the Maryland game on the left quadrant to the Cal game on the far right quadrant you would still see an upward trajectory despite the Cal troughs. Upside has materialized in significant movements since big cat weekend and I am still as optimistic. Put me at 8/10 on our future.

We should fire Hugh and Hire.??
Deon Sanders...... No no wait, Billy Napier he is about to be available...... No dang it... has to be Kevin Steele...... They are all available... Bring Back Harsin?

Give the man a full three years of support, our QB absolutely SUCKED.. Harsin left us with NOTHING.... Nothing...

We have loss 4 games in a row against D-1 (A&AM does not count) which sucks, but we need to let the season play out.

Depends on who the starting QB is Saturday. If its Thorne again, I just don't see anything but another stubborn Gus not willing to accept the obvious. Maybe Thorne lights it up against another inferior opponent but I would rather be building and developing our other players for the future. Thorne is done after this year and clearly isn't up to beating anyone with a pulse.

And again, please point out one person in this thread that has called for his head.

There are folks here of the opinion that he won’t be able to get it done. But, because we are not happy with him, that automatically means we want him fired now? This is silly,

We realize it’s a rebuild, we realize bad decisions of the past have put us in the position where a coaching change would be catastrophic.

I’m fine with giving him 4 or 5 years, I just don’t believe he will get it done,

I hope the scumbag proves me wrong.

A shaky 6/10.

The offense seems soft. I can't tell if this is a reflection of Hugh gentle pastoral demeanor, Thorne's nonchalant attitude in the face of adversity, or the lack of a consistent desire to run the ball.

Made sense to me at 10pm last night- I realize it may be an overreaction and situationally untrue. I think what I was trying to articulate is even if we’re digging out of a hole- I just want to see us be an opponent other teams don’t consider an easy out.

I’m not agreeing with you here, yet I can’t factor a way to disagree with you either.

Your faith level isn’t nearly as high as to what we all would have hoped for this early in our “softer” portion of Auburn’s football schedule this season.

Yet?..it MAY not be as dismal as many here think it is either.

Knee jerk reactions and overly emotional responses are VERY common at this point so early on with SO much of the entire landscape of the entire season yet to play out for EVERYONE.

I guess?…what I’m trying to say regarding your personal particular “faith level” in response to the OP’s initial question is completely IRRATIONAL.

Championships of any kind - 0%

Eventually beating Bama on the field - 65%

Eventually beating Georgia on the field - 10%

This is all well and good. I thought it would take 4 recruiting cycles. But this doesn't explain losing when our talent is already better, or blowing games we should win. We are more talented than Cal and we were more talented than NMSU. This is a very bad sign and I don't think you can ignore it.

7/10. Mainly because of recruiting though.
