Since you got a VPN, why are you getting any subscriptions? Just google and download the best Kodi app on firestick for sports.

If you get the Disney/ESPN/Hulu with live sports bundle you should be ok.
The regular bundle (without Hulu live sports) might not get you what you need if you don't have a cable provider. Last year Uverse dropped our local ABC station because of a carriage rights disagreement and because we didn't get ABC on our provider for a week or two, if a game was broadcast on ABC we couldn't watch it on the ESPN app. I'm assuming that might be true for you if you don't have a cable provider that gives you ESPN.

Yeah I’m not seeing the downside here. Pay about 100-120 bucks for the season and cancel it back out afterwards. I don’t have any interest in watching anything on the rest of a cable setup anyway.

Haven't seen the particulars but not paying for a ton of unused channels is sounding pretty good.
ie: I can walk around dead w/o a TV showing me how.

I just watch the illegal youtube streams. Worst case they get taken down and you spend 2 minutes finding a new one.

I've been with Sling TV during football and BB seasons. Haven't missed an Auburn game over the last several years. The only games they don't have are CBS and Fox, but I get those over air waves.
