What Would Freeze’s Yearly Record Be With Bama or Georgia’s Roster?

I say no better than 9-3
8-4 on average
The pick 6 by Oklahoma was the same exact play from the previous week against Arkansas and Oklahoma was ready for it
This is the SEC, not High School
And for all the talk about Thorne not being a dog and just crumbling under pressure. This is exactly who his head “coach” is so what do you expect?
It’s one step at a time. Let’s get some players in here the next few years and hire a competent in-game coach in the next 3-5 years that can sustain it. Not flame out like Hugh does at all his jobs.

Saban and Kirby are terrible GameDay coaches. Did you watch this past weekend?

Bout 10-2 with the regular undefeated season. It’s the players not the coaches.
Look at all the coaches that were “great” at bama then went somewhere else and had lesser players with no where near the success. And Saban and Kirby both hired really good coaches

We get it, you hate brother Hugh.
We're certainly going to find out what he can do with blue chip rosters because he's building just that.

Saban coached? This past weekend?
I need new glasses.
I can swear he was commentating and doing commercials.

That's exactly what we hired, but we did hire him. We've got to give the guy a solid chance now. Let him recruit, give him some time and in 2026, we can get the torches and pitch fork gang back together if he still sucks.

Some of you "FAIR" weather fans need a dose of reality .......
Where exactly at Bama or Georgia did that coach and staff taake over the cluster created at Auburn?
There is no comparison ......

Anywhere between undefeated and two losses/year. Having a huge talent advantage can make up for bad scheme or unforced errors to use a tennis term.

Been called a lot of words, but calling me a "fair" weather Auburn fan is fighting words. I grew up in B'ham in the 70s-80s. Only kid in the class sporting AU gear. Nothing "fair" weather in my AU history either.

I invite you to go look at Saban’s average record pre uat. Even with the natty at LSU, his average yearly win/loss was 8-4.

I've literally been telling people this FOR YEARS.
He was a 6-6/7-5 coach at Michigan State in 95, 96, 97, 98. Until the last season in 1999 he went 9-2 and left for LSU
At LSU, 8-4, 10-3, 8-5, 13-1, 9-4... LSU nor Bama were winning like that but the cupboard wasn't bare. He got to Bama in 2007, remember they went 10-2 and finished in the top 10 in 2005
Kirby took over Georgia from a guy who won 74% of his games and was 9-3 the year he got fired. He never had to rebuild.
IT'S HARD to build a program the way Hugh has to. All the transfers and all the winning your 2 biggest rivals are doing.
It's gonna take a little time, but it's gonna be GREAT.

Auburn fans just love going for this line once Gus was hired for no fricking reason.
Called Gus a gimmick offense as we ran it down people’s throats.
