such a bust this year. Really disappointed in his play. Doesnt block, cant catch. Looks lost on a lot of plays

Not only him... Eugene Asante, Austin Keys, Keionte Scott, Percy Lewis... ALL subpar

I’d like to see less of Percy Lewis. He’s a big boy, but he got abused on Saturday

It wasn't because he was blocking anyone. I think Saturday he thought they were playing 2 hand touch rules

Perry Thompson needs to take over the flex position, and Rivaldo should only be in the game when they go to the bunch set formations.

Agreed.

I chuckled when you suggested this in another thread and someone said Perry needed to be heavier. I wondered, does that mean if Percy gets up to 400-450 he will actually start blocking?

Not out of the norm for a Freshman WR

He’s getting to play because he’s not supposed to be a normal freshman.

The point is not a personal attack on him. I don’t know if he can block or not because his effort is so poor. That can not be tolerated especially by a freshman. We talk about players being “handed” job well that one definitely was. Can Brown has played better and with better effort

T Johnson is the only other option. I saw on 247 that in the 5 recruiting classes before Freeze took over that Auburn signed exactly 9 OL total. That's just crazy to me and also why we just don't have many options especially at OT
