Deuce, Perry Thompson, A'mon Lane-Ganus, Alvin Henderson, Jeremiah Cobb, Malcolm Simmons, Cam Coleman and Kenyatta Watson follow Sumrall on twitter. I dunno if that's just a coincidence or not. seems like an awful lot of Auburn players following him on there. there may be even more but i don't have every AU player followed on twitter.

The question is would they be willing to play for him?

Why would they be following a coach on twitter that they weren't willing to play for? I highly doubt they'd be following him if they didn't like the idea of him being their coach.

Maybe they are following to see what he is going to do or to find out more about him. That doesn't necessarily mean they want to play for him

Jang who do you want brother?

I wouldn't mind Sumrall over Durkin.

I'd still prefer to have more of a chance with a Brohm or a Key.

I still believe Sumrall is the guy though.

As far as those twitter follows go several has said those follows are old. Even Ryan Williams follows Sumral.. probably from Sumrall's Troy days.

Who do you want?

Positives and negatives regarding Drink

Positives:
1. HC experience in SEC
2. Seems to find a serviceable QB each year

Negatives:
1. Dorky; I’d prefer hard-nosed Dye type
2. Lost a game to Harsin

3. 7-14 against top 25 teams
4. 1-9 against top 10 teams

Scratch Drank off the list and put Riley in there

Hokanson and Ole Miss mods are saying various things about its Sumrall holding things up for Auburn and not the other way around. If Sumrall is waiting for Lane I say let's just ditch his arse.

The biggest positive about Drink for me is I could sleep at night knowing if one of The Indigo Girls died, he could jump right in and nobody would know the difference

If Sumrall would be dumb enough to pick old piss over Auburn, that shows his decision making isn’t good. I agree, it’d be a big red flag.

Kiffin will destroy that roster when he leaves and set that program back to begging David Cutcliffe to come around

You're right about that. He didn't hesitate to do it to Tennessee. He will do it to Old Piss.

I don’t think it’ll end up that bad for ole miss. Honestly I think we got sumrall, LSU gets Layne, ole miss gets Lincoln Riley in a splash hire and Florida gets Glenn Schumann or Ryan grubb. Arkansas gonna get Gus malzahn.

Drinkwitz is 0-15 since 2020 against SEC teams that finish with a winning conference record.

Against ranked teams
2020: 1-4, -97 point differential
2021: 0-3, -75 point differential
2022: 1-2, -35 point differential
2023: 3-2, +28 point differential
2024: 0-3, -69 point differential
2025: 0-3, -10 point differential
Total: 5-17, -258 point differential

Out of the five ranked wins he has during his tenure at Missouri…

beat LSU in 2020, who finished 5-5.
beat South Carolina in 2022, who finished 7-5.
beat Kansas State in 2023, who finished 8-4.
beat Kentucky in 2023, who finished 6-6.
beat Tennessee in 2023, who finished 8-4.

Now add the loss Saturday to Oklahoma to that.

You want to pay 10-11 million per year for that?

I have no idea if what they’re saying is true but if we’re ready to move forward and he isn’t because he’s waiting on Lane then I say scratch him and move on. This is coming from someone who has had Sumrall high on his personal wish list from the get go.
