talked to my proctologist today. He said he saw Marcus Freeman eating at Niffers with Cohen

The dentist is pretty straight and right more than wrong. Birdhouse maker would be money, but sadly that source died out when suck arse Freeze got fired.
Hopefully the new coach's wife likes birdhouses.

Yes! Yes I do! I’m a big picture guy who sees what Auburn could be if they stopped thinking small. People say I’m the crazy one for throwing out a Lanning. We could never afford him they say. It will cut into our NiL money if we hired him..No one ever considers the economic tsunami that would follow if we did. Real rabid excitement makes people open their wallets and throw their weight behind NIL collectives. It signals you are serious about going to war on and off the field. So when I get annoyed with people saying things like “our ad could manage the drive over to Tulane” it’s because you can’t project that visual across the CFB landscape. You can’t give anyone any ammo to point at Auburn and say “look, they are too poor to take the university jet to interview a guy for the most high profile job at the school”.. You’re not going to achieve big time results at Auburn or in any walk of life thinking small.
I love my serial down voters

Lanning is a long shot (read impossible) but I 100% agree with you. Seems weird and disappointing that Cohen would hire a sunbelt guy given his job rides on this hire after screwing up so badly with Freeze. Why aim so small??
Look I hope Sumrall works out if we go with him. Much more likable than freeze and easier to pull for. I too just wish we would have swung so much bigger. Hell, maybe we did. Just seems like he has been the guy since day 1.

This is my last response to you:
We are a fricking flight school and I very strongly doubt that any school in the SEC has more aircraft, piston or turbine, than Auburn does. I'm very confident that NOBODY with a brain would say that Auburn is too poor to fly to New Orleans. You are a special kind of stupid.
ETA:
Hell, we own our own airport.

100% wouldn't be his hire.

IF it’s Sumrall, I predict he will win more games than Harsin and Freeze combined.

Love how Auburn goes cheap every time thinking this is the time it works out. Thanksgiving 2028 we will be looking for a new coach AND AD

Nothing is as undefeated as Auburn fans coming up our own scenarios in our heads and if not told directly it is or isn’t happening by our AD or reporters immediately, just assuming it is or isn’t happening depending on what would be worse for Auburn

Who have we gone cheap for this time?

for the second fricking time read the post I was responding to before responding to me. I was responding to a poster who said our AD could manage the drive over to Tulane to interview the coach. I responded by telling him the optics of Auburn driving to interview the coach instead of taking the jet are horrible. You then jumped into the conversation.
I know we have a god damn airport and plenty of planes, which is exactly why you don’t hop in the fricking car to go interview the guy you want to make the highest profile employee of the university

He thinks we're just gonna automagically go out and pull one of these top 10 coaches away from their cush jobs that they're already winning at and are in the playoffs. because otherwise, i don't know you can say we're going cheap considering none of those guys are coming here. we'll pay our new coach whatever the going market rate is based on their level of success. whether it's 5mil or 15mil, that doesn't guarantee success or failure at a given job. Jimbo Fisher and Brian Kelly are great examples of not going cheap and failing miserably.
