What is franklins floor, this year! And his QB was hurt. Is our schedule this year tougher than Franklin faced in the Big 10? Nope

Y’all got some stupid arguments thinking 9 wins per yr is his ceiling when he was in the playoffs, not to mention he beat UGA at Freaking Vandy I don’t want him but thinking he is a bad coach is ridiculous

Don't be blind.

It's the same group around the Troy area that wants "ownership" of Auburn football. Again, why do you think Charles Kelly even gets one ounce of attention.

Let Sumrall go prove himself at Arkansas. Putting together a staff from nothing is an impossible task.

Neal Brown and Joe Craddock - are you joking? No 5 star QB said ever Neal Brown and Joe Craddock will get me to the NFL.

Do you ever want to see and NFL tight end at Auburn again?

Do you ever want to see an NFL offensive line?

Franklin is what he is. I will say we would be ecstatic if we had 2024 PSU's season. He is consistently bringing in highly ranked recruiting classes. His loses are close to great teams. PSU is not the easiest place to recruit to. Anyone can read about the issues with location, etc. All of you acting like we are above Franklin is laughable. We are currently one of the worst football programs in the SEC and would benefit from 5-7 years of stability under Franklin. If we hire a Sumrall and he is another bust, we may not recover. We have an entire generation of potential AU fans that weren't alive the last time AU had a decent football team, and that is hard to recover from.

Also, why are we always trying to do something different than UA and UGA?

They hired coaches with big time experience who run NFL offenses.
Auburn should, too. That is what works. And we can recruit fine, especially with NIL.

Lincoln Riley leads comeback against Iowa. Move him up the list!

Key in a dogfight and losing to 1-9 Boston College. Down he goes on the list.

Lincoln Riley has a routine awful SEC defense. His offense isnt as consistent as Lane either.

I learned long ago to not instantly discredit tinfoil theories about Auburn, but this seems a bit short sided. I don't think he was a serious consideration but what does Charles Kelly have to do with Troy? If Auburn doesn't hire Sumrall I'll bet he ends up in a higher job than Arkansas. If Kiffin leaves Ole Miss, I'd imagine he'll be their top target.

I'd love to have NFL TE and O-linemen in the future but I care more about winning college games. If the raid gets us wins that's what I care about.

Brown doesn’t run Air Raid anymore. His later WVU offenses were more run heavy. RPO.

I'd rather stay away from a heavy RPO system

I don't think RPO was the problem as much as Hugh Freeze wasn't creative in using the RPO to take advantage of his players. He was also terrible at game day playcalling. The Vandy game showed that

Yeah I am still done with it though.

RPO should be a wrinkle, but nothing more for me.

Only kidding.
