So Duece Scoops is saying Joey Halzle, the OC may be getting a look as our OC.

He is making 850K per year. I think Jimmy Sexton is working overtime with all these changes

I mentioned Chesney when we first started talking about firing Freeze. I wanted Cignetti when we were searching for Freeze, because I went out & did some analysis on him & staff. Chesney is young & might make mistakes at the next level but he will win given the right circumstances.

I also mentioned Cignetti several times and was blasted on here and told Auburn would never hire a coach that old.

Chesney is very intriguing. I don't know anything about him. He is being linked to several openings. Penn State, UCLA are two that I have seen.

Rumor is Kiffin is getting cold feet about leaving. I dont know which one I would like to see.more: seeing the upstart Ole Miss fans crushed or the delusional LSU fans melt after the way they have showed their arse this week. That is the price that you play dealing with Kiffin.

So Freeze to LSU?

Freeze is finished. LOL

Who knows if they don't land Kiffin? I bet he still goes to LSU.

They are beginning to hit the pre melt panic button.

I was told that I was an idiot on the last coaching search because he was at a transitioning JMU & AU could do better...like Freeze or Sanders so look how that turned out...

Chesney has a similar mold as Cignetti. I watched some videos on others talking about him & how determined he was to win and scheme when he was outmatched by talent...

NGL, I wish I could have a Jimmy Sexton Christmas! That man kills it every year during the holiday season. Nothing but big checks under the tree every single year

Cignetti is a stud. Even took a QB I thought we should have went after playing against him in Mendoza.

Chesney would be a nice fallback if Sumrall doesn't work out. I'm relieved to know Lea and Drink are off the table now. If somehow we could cross Durkin off the list, I'd feel even better.

Yep, I would be perfectly fine with Chesney if we somehow missed on Sumrall.

I lived in Virginia for some years, over 30 years ago. I looked at an election map of Western part of Virginia, God's country. I was surprised to see a solid red....with a little blue spot, I zoomed in and saw JMU. Chesney also went to Carlisle which "honors and devotes itself to all people, even those who cant decide what people they are".

He would have us wearing "tutus" during pregame warm ups. I want some blood in the saddle, give me Sumrall.

If we lose him to Florida then Cohen should be fired immediately.

Also LOL @ anyone who celebrated Lea and Drink signing extensions if we end up just defaulting to Durkin

Idk. It makes me think it's even more likely to be Sumerall. We've had a target date of Sunday after the Iron Bowl to announce the new hire. I guess it could still be Durkin but it wouldn't make any sense for us to wait if so and let it appear like Sumerall chose Florida over Auburn. Guess we'll know soon enough

Eta... Not going to correct how i misspelled his name until he's our coach

Have to disagree: Sunday isn't soon enough.

Maybe Sumrall believes we strung him along. Or maybe his agent wanted more money. Done deal talk never turns out like such after a week or two
