The problem is Cal is nowhere near the level of talent we’ll face in conference play. Watching bama/Texas going right into our game was like watching a totally different sport.

Bro… look at what the rest of the SEC did yesterday… state should’ve lost to Arizona… Vandy got beaten soundly…. A&M gave up 500 yds to a team that was worse than us last yr… Ark struggled with Kent St… Tenn struggled with Austin peay… Mizzou struggled with MTSU…

The league as a whole appears mediocre

We were more like 3-2 yesterday.

Not just mediocre.. Did you see our vertical offense?

He has an amazing ability to motivate
By using racism. Deion is a racist. Plain and simple. Im glad we passed on him. No amount of wins is worth listening to him bitching about people doubting him bc he is black.

As if his color has anything to do with people thinking Colorado wouldnt be successful year one

I was all one the Prime train but dude is racist and if not racist views everything in black and white and show his bias. But has always had racial undertones throughout his professional career.

But we have Freeze. Prime will flame out because when his kids are done he ain’t gonna want to spend the time teaching other kids so at most he has 3 more years of coaching.

I’m happy and excited the direction of our program but most have to see it’s a rebuild here. It’s not add a QB a couple players and we are contenders. We need to bring in talent. The portal class was the band aid just for this season. Patience my friends and it will pay off

Yeah I admit I can’t stand the racist angle. It’s like everyone that questioned whether CO could win more than a few games is because they are racist is pretty ignorant and lame.

Agreed, I’m very happy with Freeze. Glad that’s who we ended up with myself.

Go beyond the league and other teams struggled with their opponents they were supposed to dominate. It was an interesting day to say the least.

This two QB thing is not going to end well. It was a poorly called game by our O staff in every aspect. Find one QB and stick with him.

I’m worried about Thorne not making reads and hanging onto the ball too long.

He might be a guy that needs that one pass option instead of being allowed to make reads.

Gus and Harsin broke me and made me actually quit watching and caring. Had high hopes Freeze would change that, but not looking likely

You have several options:
1. Find something more rewarding than Auburn football and never watch, attend, or comment on another game.
2. Continue to SUPPORT Auburn football and believe the best about the coaches and players that choose to be here.
3. Watch the games, be angry that we don’t win every game by 30, and come back here to show everyone that “I was right”.

The first two will show us that you are a man of good character.

The last one will show us that you are the opposite.

Ok? Defense looked fantastic, special teams was ok, offense was horrid.

so yeah, ok is probably the right descriptor viewing it as an overall performance.

eta: The TD drive we gave up to Cal was bc 12 and 32 were at LB instead of our starters. They drove down the field and those two were the reason they scored. Freeze has to stop putting both of them on the field at the same time. Too much of a liability for us

It is concerning. I heard Freeze, earlier in the week, talking about how they don't do anything special on D. They just line up and play their assignments. If Thorne had trouble with that, we are in deep shite.

Can we just tell 32 he has one gap and just fire him into it?

Nice kid, but Asante is a linebacker.

We need to check his cleats for lead

My big worry with Thorne is it does not look like he has any zip on the ball, like any at all. His throws seems like what I make out in the back yard with my noodle arm. How can someone play that many years of ball and not have zip in their throws is beyond my comprehension.

We looked terrible on offense last night.

End of discussion.

What I did not do - was make comments about the future of Freeze’s career at Auburn 90 minutes of game time into said career.

What I did not do - was tout the fact that I no longer cared about Auburn football while at the same time post about it on a message board.
