Jon Sumrall made a fricking statement tonight to John Cohen and Auburn's PTB; Florida never punted tonight and broke a couple of Florida offensive records that go back to 2004 and 2007. Sumrall also went for it on 4th and 3 late in the game with a good lead. Sumrall is a defensive minded coach who hasn't been overly aggressive on the offensive side of the ball during his 4 year HC'ing career but he was aggressive all night tonight.
I think this game was very personal to him and he wanted to hang 50+ on us if he could. And they likely would've hung 60 on us if not for all their penalties. Sumrall wanted to light up the scoreboard on DJ Durkin's defense just to show Cohen and company that "the DC (Durkin) that y'all tried to force on me ain't shite and I just brought my QB, who has been a backup at Ga. Tech, into your hostile environment and scored on that defense at will."
Like others here have said, this was typical JABA.

I took so much heat during the coaching search for calling out this little stipulation. All the morons that ran their mouths with their inside information and their excuses about needing to pair Sumrall or any potential hire with a proven commodity in DJ can kiss every square inch of my arse.
