Anyone seen anything? Were there enough bowl eligible teams?

One thing had AU and UCF. Gus would kick our arse.

If we get a new HC in place it could potentially be a good thing. They need to recruit and hit the portal, true, but there's going to be some re-recruiting our own team that needs to happen and quickly getting the players on board with the new staff will be key.

Please not UCF... Gus would run up the score then eat waffle house after lmao

It's an excuse to stay engaged with the players and make sure they aren't jumping into the portal without at least talking to them.

Probably not. 11 SEC teams are bowl eligible. A&M, Vandy, and Auburn are all 5-7, 2-6.

Number of SEC teams that are bowl eligible doesn’t matter does it?

I read we get in IF Buffalo loses to 1 win Akron and NCAA doesn't grant waiver to another team that played 2 FCS teams

And we're moving up in the possibilities. We're 3rd of the 5-7 teams in APR. UNLV and Rice are ahead of us. However, with UNLV firing their coach, they are now less likely to accept a bowl bid apparently.

So if Buffalo loses, we're going back to Birmingham!

ETA: NMSU is applying for a waiver since they only played 11 games and finished 5-6 due to the SJSU game being cancelled.
