These team pages were set up for exactly what they are. Team pages where people could discuss issues without the constant flaming. If you dont think that is exactly what will happen, you are not as bright as you think

The difference is, if there is flaming, we can remove the flaming user from the board.

Yes, I go out of my way to "bicker" back and forth. Give me a break man. I have opinions just as everyone else. Anyone who responds to any of my views enjoys the "bickering" as much as I do I suppose.

This is a bad idea from the inception. The rant is for cross-team discussion. If there is a problem with a poster, who decides? Are we going to have another weeklong vote to kick them off while a flamefest ensues? Or let a poster stay on if only 45% of the auburn posters don't like them. This is a horrible idea.

seems pretty petty, IMO... if they want certain fans over there and feel they add to their board, then go for it... why should what we do here matter?
I'll give most of the bama posters on this site some credit... they're a thousand times more tolerable than most internet-gumps... doesn't mean we have to let them here, though.

They have some good folks, but I like having a place for just AU fans.

I just read the thread over there... gotta love how self-righteous they are... as if bama fans are above the infighting. It's easy when you've won 3 in 4 years... if that place was around in the early 2000s, there'd be more bickering than over here.
can't wait for a couple 2-3 loss season in a row to see that fanbase's reaction... they'll be back to eating their own in no time.

That was my point. As soon as we start winning, the douche will come out again. A lot of our posters haven't been through the bullshite we get when winning.

Ya reading that thread is a perfect example of why it would be a bad idea to do the swap. It would not take long for those attitudes to come through in posts causing flame wars. Just like on the rant
