OL is getting more healthy. Britt is the only guy right now that is absolutely not available. Some are still dealing with injuries so day to day.

Smoke, McCreary, Sherwood, and Pritchett all played all 77 defensive snaps. Peters and Simpson banged up. Zion was backup at linebacker which I found strange.

Tank has broken the 2nd most tackles in the country through 3 games. (Not from the presser but somewhere I heard he had over 100 yards after contact)

Are they going to be able to club Britt’s hand? Not for this week, but in a few weeks

Crazy considering how few carries he got week 1

Does that mean more talented? Better coached?

His talent was obvious from day one. A true Heisman type back.

Nino I’m not sure what the status of Britt is going forward. A thumb is pretty serious for a football player. If I were him personally I would not rush back not in the covid season of 2020. If he’s healthy and ready to go I have no doubt KJ will be out there.

Chex maybe they played a little soft but 77 plays are a bit extreme in my opinion for a defensive back. No wonder they were finding holes in the secondary late in each half. Hopefully some of the younger guys are getting closer to ready to play.

We do continue to have padded practice on Sundays for the DL/OL and the younger guys. That’s a major shift from normal practice schedule. It’s an attempt to develop both lines especially depth on DL and gelling on the OL and younger players throughout the program. I like it in some ways but will we run out of gas in the tank before the season end?

With a shortened season,I guess the coaches are willing to practice the lines a little harder in an attempt to get them up to speed. It’s not a bad idea, they obviously need all the help they can get

Just have to keep an eye on dead legs and mentally.

How dead legged did Tutt look on that one punt return felt like he ran for 30 seconds and only made it like 7 yards and then out of bounds. Not the last return one earlier in the game.

Britt is absolutely missed but Zacoby has done well at replacing him. He is a machine at times. Great to have both of those guys at once

They should. This guy destroyed us with one working hand.

Heard a doctor say today, that since Britt's injury is ligament related, it is not feasible this soon to allow a club type dressing. If it was a bone break, he said they would put screws in it and stabilize it, and then they could have been able to get on the field sooner.

Ligament damage requires more therapy, and healing first before the player could get on the field.

In other words, its going to take many more weeks before Britt could get on the field.
