Am I late on this rule change?

Head coach and 10 assistants are allowed to recruit.

So you can now hire guys just for recruiting and guys just for coaching now technically

WR coaching staff:

1. Slant
2. Slant and go
3. Hitch
4. Hitch and go
5. Go
6. Post
7. Corner
8. Post-corner
9. Hook
10. Drag
11. Post-corner-post
12. Fade
13. In
14. Out

So 14 WR route coaches, probably need 3 to 5 more for blocking. Along with a head WR coach, 2 associate head WR coaches.

With 5000 on field coaches, will they still have room for my field level experience?

Football is dead. In 5 years, it will be like 10 schools able to compete on a yearly basis with all the expenditures

Yep 2 conferences of 20 teams. So about 40 teams will be able to compete at the top level. The rest will lose money then lower their competition level so about 90 more teams will be playing D2 or D3.

It’s not just football. It will trickle down to basketball, baseball, softball, etc.

So say the example used was 5 years. Everyone won’t have pulled out by then but if you aren’t working at least somewhere close to a $100m budget for sports you’re gonna have zero chance to compete

Basically you can now have as many coaches as you want and they can all provide onfield coaching. Only 10 assistant coaches will be able to recruit, however. Supposedly every coach they talked to was in favor of the change. The coaches believe it will help younger assistants who are stuck as analysts get actual coaching experience.

I wonder if they are going to keep their headset limits? Right now you are limited on how many guys can wear headsets during games. I didn't see this mentioned, so I guess the limit is still in effect.

Auburn is one of the richest football programs in the country. We're consistently in the top 10 of the most profitable programs in the country.

With no-holds-barred paying players, no weed drug screening, and unlimited coaches, I expect us to be in the playoffs every year from here on out.

No excuses.

We laugh makers,

But wait til we see the team picture with staff, that little blip in the middle is our 85 member team

Have you seen the staff numbers since we had to start recruiting portal, and keeping our own kids, its getting ridiculous.

I see the benefits but definitely needs to be a cap on it. Each coach on the staff needs an administrative asst, and 2 coaching assistants. Beyond that I think is just dumb. Way too many voices in the players ears with different coaching techniques.

Granted outside of those having an analyst for film 8 on each side of the ball is good. 4 to watch future games and 4 to review past games for self improvement.
