I think he'll probably end up with 20-25min compared to his standard 30m+ average.
I'd expect Bryce to struggle in this game, even if he wasn't injured. Kentucky's length/long arse arms allow them to contest a typically "good" shot + disrupt passing lanes. Bryce's strong perimeter on ball defense is also mitigated due to KY's standard lineup/style.
I'd think guys like Heron, Spencer, Okeke and maybe Murray to be the stars of this game. KY is long, but they have no meat. Auburn's heavier players should be able to control post positioning, go strong to the rim and absorb contact well

I wonder if Bruce would consider putting Harper on Wenyan and shifting to allow Bryce to guard SGA. It's pick your poison but I've not seen them ever go to Wenyan in a mismatch.

huh? Wenyen generally plays the post, Harper/Brown are likely on SGA or Hamidou Diallo when both are in the game. Then there is 6'0 G Quade Green who plays ~20min per game as well
So I imagine we will play quite a bit of 1-1-3 zone vs UK. They aren't great at shooting, don't pass distribute well and don't have elite post players to work through.
When in man though, I imagine we will see the following matchups for starters
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Jared Harper
Hamidou Diallo: Bryce Brown/Dunbar
Kevin Knox: Mustapha Heron
PJ Washington: Murray/McElmore
Nick Richards: Murray/McElmore

Random BBall question - how much would a conference tourney loss hurt AU with the selection committee, particularly if we end the season pretty strong?

Probably only affects whether we are a 1 or a 2 seed if we finish the regular season strong.

Generally speaking, conference tournament doesn't impact seeding all that much. The exceptions are teams that get embarrassed or run a gauntlet beating elite teams.

I'm aware that Wenyen is a post player.. but Harper could be "hidden" on Wenyen because he never gets the ball.
I suggest this because SGA penetrating is what makes them dangerous (when they are dangerous), so hiding Harper on Wenyen and allowing Bryce to guard SGA is what I would do. Stay in front of SGA and hope Knox doesn't have one of his rare otherworldly games and UK isn't tough to beat.
SGA will be a problem for Harper if that's what we go with.

To start the game Gabriel isn't on the floor. When he is, if you think they won't feed Gabriel of Harper is on him you're nuts.
Either way, we are likely about to play a ton of zone so the point is moot. I imagine most of our man D will be when Quade Green is in

If Auburn plays well tonight, I think it could Chan’s the perception of the team. I think there are still a lot of people who just don’t know how good the team is.
I’d like to see a solid win.

I hope that we win by 30. I don't think it is impossible either

Auburn basketball has turned into 2010 football in that I miss a game and hurry to find the score and bam... We won big and I am not surprised.
