keep up with our portal transfers.
Freeze also said he doesnt have a depth chart, that a lot of players will play and this was just put out by media relations

And that would be a lie. Even if he doesn’t keep up with an official depth chart, he has one.

Zion Puckett has to be the heaviest S in the league.
The back up behind Simpson here is a walk on transfer from Baylor. I don't ever remember seeing his name brought up before now, so that's interesting.

Gotta imagine a lot of these positions are fluid the first few weeks

Still injured and questionable for Sat along with Mardner and Rhym

Yep. I'm sure this will settle out a bit over the next few weeks. A lot of "or's" on there.
I'm sure we'll have a good bit of rotating on DL and LB.
And it looks like WR is still up for grabs for the most part.

Agreed, and probably somewhat opponent dependent too.
Also, why is Jarquez in kick return? We have enough athletes. What is the love of putting your starting running back as a kick returner? It is rare that they ever do enough there to actually warrant the risk and wear/tear.
I will say, this may be the longest defense we've fielded in a long time.

Hasn’t Quattlebaum been the deep snapper for the last couple years?
Guess Reed Hughes beat him out. Reed had the “Running with Reed” videos last year.

Not counting special teams, we have 10 positions with transfers from the last class slated to start.

Who the hell is our backup FS Griffin Speaks? Never heard of the dude.
ETA: Looks like a walk-on transfer from Baylor

The fact Steiner is third string shows improvement.

I don’t know if it’s good or bad… but we have a ton of JRs and SRs in the two deep.

McAllister coming in hot!
I have a gut feeling that Marcus Harris is going to have a breakout year for himself
