When Tank took the jet sweep for 25 yards on the first play after LSU pinned us deep late in the first half.

Sure, we were up 14-0 already but we had been gifted 2 TDs and hadnt looked particularly sharp on offense up to that point. Great play call and execution led to a near-perfect 99-yard TD drive and a commanding 21-point AU lead.

Our offense returned in the third quarter and thoroughly dominated LSU, outscoring them 27-0 and outgaining them 256-27 before emptying the bench.

LSU is awful defensively, and they seemed to basically give up after we went up 28-3, so take it FWIW. But our offensive output from the last 4 minutes of the 2nd quarter through the first minute of the 4th was encouraging.

Maybe. The reversal of the targeting call on Z was pretty big as well

I missed that. When did it occur?

Early. He dove in and hit the LSU qb when he was sliding. Took his helmet off. Umps called it targeting but replay overturned it. It wasn’t targeting but honestly I thought he deserved a late hit call by definition of the slide rule.

Glad they didn’t kick him out. He was ballin all day.

I'm hoping they revisit the rules and bring back personal foul that don't result in ejection

He obviously hit him after he slid down. A personal foul would have been the fair call

Their QB coming off the field due to helmet loss on 3rd down killed that drive. That ended up being a great play by Zacoby.

I think the turning point, if there was one, was when we finally got our O on track.

The reason we dominated, IMO, is the way we did not allow them any yards on the ground. We made a team with two freshmen QB's need to win the game for them with their arms.

Zacoby played a very good game yesterday. Definitely our top LB right now.

Turning point occurred weeks before we saw LSU on the field.

Odel Beckham was banned from the LSU Locker room for two years and the team had to miss several pay checks.
